“Marius” is a world-class drummer from Stuttgart, Germany. For his first single “30 Tage auf Tour” from his solo-project he wanted to tell the story of being on tour, while the pandemic just started and everyone missed these times.

The plot leads us through all the typical stations of an average tour day: Arriving at the location, get in, eat, souncheck and so on, always pushed by his tourmanager, while his crew is having fun backstage.

As the artwork of the single works with cartoon elements which mix with photos taken by Victor Schanz, we also mixed these elements into the video.

You’ll find custom Backstage-passports, cowbells, Pizza and several typographic cartoon animations throughout the whole video including a karaoke chrous section!

The video has a feeling of a one-shot, as marius makes his way through the building and has to interact at all different stations. Every time the chorus hits, there’s a new drumset so he can perform what he does best. Playing the drums.
