In 2017 my Band Start A Fire released the third album "Schattenjagd". Singer Jan Schüle writes deeply poetic lyrics full of lyrical quotes of writers and musicians. The record could easily be seen as a concept-album as the whole story is some kind of a dark and twisted theatrical play.

For the artwork Jan Schüle and I decided to take this theater feeling into the design and worked, once again, together with Arne Hübner as the protagonist of the story and set up a fotosession where we staged the milestones of the plot.

Additionally I worked out a handdrawn typography layer to highlight the important parts of the plot and worked with the poetic feel of the lyrics to achieve some kind of a screenplay feeling.
