Starting of as a promotional joke, the punkrock band “Smile and Burn” released their super rough Deutschpunk-Album “Besser sein als jetzt” in early 2022. All tracks are very roughly recorded and pretty straight forward punk songs.

For the limited editions 10” Vinyl they wanted to do shirt design which matches the spirit of the album.
In addition to this, a screenprinted alternative cover was printed by Homesick Merch in two color variations.

For the authentic punkrock feeling I created some fictional custom logos for some fake sponsor logos and also a custom Bandlogo. The tracklist on the folding back of the cover was set in the most consequent chaos. The eyes of the burning globe I lent from a former design of Christian Bögle, also for Smile and Burn.
