In 2017 the german rockband “Heisskalt” released their album “LIVE”. For the artwork the band wanted to work with the pictures of Victor Schanz who travelled with the band for the last two years to document their

live-recordings. As the sound of the band is pretty dark and rough, they wanted to have this feeling mirrored in the design.

Inside of the Gatefold + CD

Victor handed me over a selection of his best 50 pictures he shot travelling with the band. I printed the all out and plakarded them in several layers on top of each other on huge pieces of wood and tore the up again. After the drying process I took pictures of it and processed them digitally. All typography is printed in gold.

Of course the band went on tour with the album and so a lot of other items needed to be designed as a tour poster, merchandise, stickers and a lot more.
The torn speaker of the cover became some kind of key visual for the album.

Additionally the whole website was designed new. Toghether with Julian Rosenthal who did all the coding, I designed the homepage, including a gallery and a implemented shop.
