2017 the german post-rock band An Early Cascade released their fourth full-length album, called “Alteration. As the band went through a lot of bigger changes in this time, the title just suits perfect.

The album artwork works with the idea of alteration as well. I took several surreal paintings which inspired me and cut them apart (digitally). In a next step I tried to put them together into something new. Just like these processes are on a meta-level, I took it into my design process and created new from old.
